I haven’t been able to get flytunes to work on my iPhone. The play button looks gray instead of blue on my phone. When I push it several times, a light gray square with a small play button that is slashed out appears in it’s place. Other sites using quicktime are working. Any suggestions?
Ha! I remember this when i made my first shitty flytunes review in january! Back when this video had like 100 views! Way to Go MAN NICE JOB!!!! I made a remake of that shitty vid! just search flytunes and check it out! The new one is WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY BETTR!
Here’s the deal: QT on the iPhone only allows a certain amount of data to be played/cached before it has to be recycled, for 128 kbps music, its 1hr (at 4 minutes per song, that should be around 14 songs, not 3-5). If you are losing your connection after 3 songs, it is probably due to a weak Edge connection. The 45 minute buffer that causes songs to repeart in that time frame if you restart the app will be going away within 2 weeks. Try wiFi.
This is a great app, WHEN IT WORKS. After about 3-5 songs, the music quits and i have to always go back and restart the stream. It’s a PIA! A lot of times when you restart it, you get cashed music that you already heard too. I wrote the developer and never got a response.
o, oops, i was replying to pinkpopsicle’s comment. I meant that satellite radio isnt free
it doesn’t stream live radio though.. just an hour long recording.
Thank you
Actually, FlyTunes is a free service. Please tell me where you are getting your false information?
No, there is no cost associated with FlyTunes.
GREAT instructional video–very clear and concise for those of us who are only mildly techno-proficient. Thanks for posting.
This is great! But does it cost?
nice, i just download flytunes .works like a charm on my ipohne ,thanks.
This is so fantastic! Thanks so much for this. When I bought my Iphone, I mostly wanted to use it as a streaming i-radio device – you can imagine how disapointed I was. I’ve found several ways around that stumbling block, but this is one of the best solutions I’ve seen yet. Just installed it on my iPhone after viewing this. It works great! Love the “E” mode. All I need to do now is find a station that plays “Coast To Coast” at night. This is so cool
great interface .nice one flytunes
ya but it aint free
Great demo of this service. Now it doesn’t matter that the iPod Touch doesn’t have a radio built in.
