“Do you know that internet is the future of business?” A friend asked me this question on the way to get lunch about four years ago. That time I didn’t have any idea to answer!

Six months ago, there was a talk show about money and market between my favorite speaker and the moderator in one of the best radio programs that I really like to hear.

“Where do you think the biggest market in the world now?” said the speaker still in that same radio program. Everybody know that China is the biggest population on earth beside India, and most of us would thought that they are or even together would be the biggest one! It was looked likes he knows what we thought about, he said : “There are a bigger market than China and India, Where is it do you think?” That time we realized what he mean : Internet !

Well, refer to what my friend told about the future of business four years ago, now the future has already come or at least it has come since six months ago! This is just a simple logic thinking of me, because actually online trading with internet has been exist for more than last 5 years, but the point of this story is market is rapidly growing day by day to be World’s Market in internet !

As the Internet Market grow, there are a lot of people who caught this opportunity to earn money by selling something online. One of the best and successful Internet marketer is Anne Ahira, an Indonesian lady who has mastering Internet Marketing since 2001. And she is one of the best Internet marketer in this world.

On her very young age, Anne Ahira has been a multi millionaire business lady through internet, by her partnership with some great names like : Google, Amazon dot Com, E-bay etc.

This big success inspired her to share her experience and educate as many as Indonesian people who are interested in Internet Marketing by established an Indonesian Professional Internet Marketing Course, Asian Brain in 2006.

Through this Talented Lady, there are many Indonesian including home mothers are following her success by being Professional Internet Marketers who earn 4 even 5 digits of dollar monthly.

Thinking of this potential side, equal opportunity, and reasonable cost of earning money through internet, I think it is good having Internet Marketing as a great profession. Good luck!

Do you have a website that is getting very little or no traffic at all? Well, there are ways that you can change that even on a small marketing budget. We will review each of the strategies you can use to promote your website, and then we will try to assimilate them into a single, uniform strategy that is both highly effective and affordable. For help visit   www.secretly-spy-your-internet-competition.com. First of all, TV commercials, radio ads, and print advertising are very expensive. This is undoubtedly the best way to launch a business, but the costs are prohibitive. A full page ad in a prominent magazine or other publication can run as high as $50,000 per ad. TV commercials can run just as high; if the commercial runs during a popular television show or sporting event, the cost will be enormous.

So, if you do not have enough money in the coffers for traditional advertising, you will likely have to use online marketing. This is not a bad thing. Offline advertising (i.e. radio, TV, print ads) is sometimes not effective. Marketing on the internet is cheaper, and if done correctly, can give you much more bang for your buck.

Obviously, the cornerstone of internet marketing is search engine submission and optimization. There are hundreds of different search engines and directories on the internet. Where you can submit your web site for a listing. This is fairly easy to do. Simply sign up for a monthly submission plan with a credible search engine submission service. There are literally hundreds of these submission services on the internet; you can find them by performing a search on Google.

However, be wary of submitters that claim to be able to submit your site to 75,000 search engines. Such services are scams, and they will submit your web page to FFA pages and bogus link pages that can actually get you banned from the search engines. You should only do business with submission services that submit to the major search engines and directories.

Now that we have covered submission, we need to talk about search engine optimization (SEO), which is even more important. For help visit www.achieving-liftoffs.com. To optimize a site, you need to maximize keyword density and optimize the positioning for the words or phrases that best characterize the subject matter of your site, and you need to use proper Meta tags so that the search engines can interpret your web pages.

If you do not know how to optimize your web site, you should search for an optimization professional on Google. Steer clear of SEO experts who want to charge $1,000 per month or more. Their goal is to bleed you dry before you figure out that they really can not help you get to the top of the rankings. Stick to providers who will optimize your site for a one-time fee.

My advice to you is to write articles and press releases and submit them to article directories and press release distribution services who will then distribute your articles and press releases to other websites who will publish them and in return link back to you. Also, you can submit your site to bloggers through a popular service called Blogitive (Blogitive will get blogs to post one-way anchor text links to your site in their blog, which will greatly enhance your search engine ranking).

If you are not patient enough to wait for your search engine ranking to improve, you can attract visitors to your web site instantly by using pay-per-click advertising (PPC). With PPC, you pay a certain cost per click to have an ad for your web page run at or near the top of the search engine listings for certain keywords. This can be extremely costly and ineffective. It is not uncommon for webmasters to blow thousands of dollars on PPC advertising and make only a few sales.

To recruit affiliates, you should submit your affiliate program to as many directories as possible (there are directories where you can list your affiliate program for free). The best way to find affiliates is by listing your program on forums or message boards visited by webmasters who are looking to generate additional revenue for their online business. You will have to consult with an experienced programmer who can set up the affiliate program so that the codes used to track sales for each affiliate will work properly.

So, to summarize, you should first optimize your website and submit it to search engines. You should then begin submitting articles and press releases to article directories and press release distribution services. You should also submit your site to Blogitive so that bloggers will write a review of your site and link to it, further boosting your link popularity. You might want to join a link exchange, but trading links often proves fruitless. Also, you should set up an affiliate program. And finally, you should budget a small amount of money to spend each week on pay-per-click.

If you are persistent and use all of these methods, you will continually increase your traffic over a period of time. It will probably take approximately 3 years of performing each of the tasks outlined in this article, on a daily basis, to get where you want to be. Just stick with it and your efforts will be rewarded in the long run.

It is estimated that by 2012 there will be 50 million mp3 units in use by Americans. This may come in the form of iPods or it may be through mp3 players in cell phones. This audio distribution method is still dwarfed by the overall power and significance of radio, which boasts a regular listenership of more than 290 million each week.

However, mp3 units are a fast growing choice and statistics further indicate more than 70% of those under the age of 24 do not listen to traditional radio preferring instead to utilize online media or mp3 players to receive their audio streams.

Meanwhile, CD manufacturers are attempting to maintain the viability of this form of media distribution, but younger media buyers are simply reverting to the use of mp3 download services and picking the songs they like. These buyers are foregoing a trip to the store and buying only what they need – when they need it.

To stave off the potential loss CD makers are including DVD’s and key codes that unlock online content only available to CD buyers.

One of the primary benefits of mp3 ownership is that the content you listen to can be adjusted at any time and you can add podcasts at will. In 2007, listenership for podcasting increased by more than 280% from year earlier figures. What this means is that the viability of establishing an audio stream via your online business or personal website may have more of an impact than you may realize.

What’s perhaps even more fascinating is watching the number of artists who are making a name for themselves simply by using social media audio streams through sites like MySpace and video streams through sites like YouTube. A recent highly successful concert in Wichita, KS was headlined by an act that was never heard on traditional radio. Their fan base was developed exclusively online and total online downloads of the music exceeded a million.

Wichita is not alone in looking to new sources for entertainment. Promoters and fans are finding it easy to simply cater to their personal tastes in an online environment and take that environment with them when they leave using mp3 devices.

Traditional radio is still far and away the bigger winner with listeners, but even they have had a wakeup call and are learning to infuse their sites with video, audio and blogs that can engage their listeners in new ways.

The trouble may come in the next decade when those younger listeners that have ventured away from radio (or never arrived in the first place) remain distant from the objectives of radio.

This will likely be a concern that will need to be addressed and corrected if traditional radio is to exist in some form.

The music industry drug its heels for a long time in developing online downloads and radio has also been pretending the move to alternative listening methods is simply a novelty and that listeners will return. In many cases they are not and the trend doesn’t show signs of stopping.

It will be interesting to see where radio goes in the next ten years. My guess is more firmly online or through on demand methods of delivery.

The Brøken ipod

I used to see one of the latest online fads, Twitter, as a super time waster. I didn’t see any reason for it so it looked like a bunch of kids sharing useless and private information like bathroom trips and nose pickings. Now I see it as an extension of an older hobby, CB or ham radio. The both trapped nerdy kids into an isolated world they could be alone in. But both were a complex social network which proved to be beneficial to society.

While I’m not old enough to remember, the ham radio fad helped in both world wars and with people in a disaster situation.

My understanding is that every block had someone who monitored the CB for cutting news of the red invasion from Russia and twisters or hurricanes. Any well equipped bomb shelter or basement had a ham radio. Even if no one knew what to do with it, it was there.

Move forward a few decades when a natural disaster hit Southern California in 2008. I saw another side of Twitter. I noticed that many web sites about the fires referred to Twitter postings. So I started looking into it.

What I saw blew me away. People were using Twitter to plot escape routes and keep track of where the fire front currently was. I can only guess how many lives were saved by this "useless" fad. Another Internet fad was being used in ways I never thought of. Mashups of Google maps (a mixture of locations) were being used by the authorities to show the latest locations and statistics. Another marked the locations of refugee camps.

Then I noticed another use for Twitter. While not life saving, it was useful none the less. I went to a programmers convention in LA and was expecting the chaos these conventions brought 30 years ago.

However, the convention was less chaotic and people knew where to go and what to do because so many of the attendees were Twittering about last minute changes, which sessions were good, and where to eat lunch. The registration desk was less of a bottle neck since fewer people had a reason to hang around it.

Grandparents are another possible audience. Wouldn’t many grandparents enjoy being able to keep track of their darlings life?

Now I see Twitter as practical in some situations and a virtual life-saver in others. Of course some people take it too far and do end up wasting time. But isn’t that a definition of a hobby?
